Saved me from burnout

I found this book 3 weeks after finishing my first marathon. I had been injured, but I was still feeling a ton of pressure from myself and others to sign up for another race. This book helped me dispel my negative self talk, helped me realize how much I love running, and how to treat my body well so that I can keep running happily for years and years.

helpful all-around running guide

if you want a book with all the things for beginner to serious amateur runners to prep, perform, and run healthy, this book is for you. it touches on just about everything and is packed with practical tips and lots of top advice. a toolkit for just about any runner.

Great read on running. I’ve only been running for a few months, so lots of new info for me. Ms. Brooks provides lots of info & explains the whys & hows so anyone can understand. Definitely will be listening at least once more.

Now buying the hard copy

I love this audiobook so much, that I am listening to it again and buying the hard copy. if you haven't listened yet, you really should. It's an easy listen, funny, and full of very helpful running tips.

Great listen!!!

This really changed my mindset on me a RUNNER!!!!! I love Amanda’s down to earth approach to running it really spoke to me as a middle of the pack runner!!
