When She's Bold: Lucy doesn't really need a husband. She just wants one. Rektar is patient, and gentle for all his hulking form. He'd be a great husband. He's also completely clueless that she's flirting with him, so it's time to be a little more...obvious.

These are all great short stories to add to the series, narration is also great.

I love this series

I love this series and I like this short stories. I do own the books but is always good to have to audible, the narrator's are soongood that the books became real.

Perfect way to get through a work day!

Easy listening for anyone. Wether you are at the office or cleaning up the house! These books keep the spice coming 😉

Cute novellas

These are very human-ish alien tales. They aren’t packed with detailed settings or drawn out angst but they are sweet and simple. You can listen to each and know that you won’t be stressed out by any aspect. Also sex 😄. Plenty of it. So they have everything you need.

Sweet … until salty

Four novellas all starring plucky human gals finding their HEAs with honorable, kind and protective big blue suede aliens that just happen to have extra features perfectly suited for her pleasure. You won’t find dubious consent or cavemman behavior from the male leads and any trauma or danger is in the past or vaguely referenced. Which means everything about the romance is sunny and sweet … except for the naughty parts, which are detailed. These novellas are for those that like salty language and sassy nooky.

When I listen to these, I put away my feminist, independent, notorious RBG brain. I don’t think about why there aren’t fierce ladies who band together and hold their homesteads without needing male protectors. I’ll look for my kickbutt female leads in other books. Here, I’m in it for the feel good stories of perfect mates, comfort and security, and sweet love combined with salty sex for the ultimate HEAs.

Mr. Lloyd is the best at making these big blue beasts both sexy and adorable, but he gets less narration time than Ms. Macie. Ms. Macie is great for each female lead (even if they all sound the same to me), but I wish she’d speed up her voicing for the males; even at 1.5x, it felt like I was hearing Eoyore the Donkey talk, all mopey and sad.

These are Fabulous stories! can't wait to dive into the other books in this series!!

Hilarious

This book was so funny and the narrators did a good job with characters. I laughed out loud throughout the book. All four of the stories were pretty good. Well worth the credit.

Quick hit of romance

These four stand alone stories are great if you need some quick hits of romance. The storylines are not complicated, but have the right amount of funny and drama to make them a good listen (and of course heat!).

Cute minis

If you enjoy the author, these mini books are a fun compliment to the world. Cute, short, and heart warming stories.

More Risdaverse!

These stories are just plain fun and perfect for die hard Ruby Dixon fans.
My complaint is that Audible takes too long to record her books!
1. The first story is The Alien’s Mail Order Bride, about the clueless Emvor and the beautiful (surprise) human who’s come to stay.
2. When She’s Married. Everybody gets exactly what they want. Nuff said.
3. Pretty Human is the best Cinderella story ever. Who you gonna root for if not another human being?
4. Last of the four is When She’s Bold, about Lucy, who really cooks, haha, and shy Rektar. Lucy really has to up her flirting game to get Rektar’s attention.
I think four stories is a real good deal, considering there are some real interesting, utterly absorbing, funny, and fun chapters here. It’s definitely worth a credit.
