Finally, love this series
Love these slices of life for NotHoth. It's like an old friend hearing the narrators come back and explain some of the little things between the novels. Please Ruby give us more!

Fun little shorts to help you see where they are going. Recommended to read after book 8. Barbarian’s Taming

So glad all the little short novellas were put into an audible finally sometimes I prefer listening instead of reading because it’s hard to read and drive and cross stitch lol I love all the mini novellas that goes with the main stories always exciting to read more about my favorite blue guys and their mates

Ok, I can do this in parts . . .
"Having the Barbarian's Baby": A new baby is coming! Okay, so honestly, Megan was pretty annoying during this short story. I was RELIEVED when Cashol finally made it back. I mean I get it but still.
"Ice Ice Babies": Awwww Dagesh! Norah needs more of him! But you can't fault the man. He just wants to make sure his family is fed.
"Calm": Ahhhhhh I know this time period. This must be right before everyone has to move. Maylak and Rokan know something is up! I see what you did there Ruby!
"Aftershocks": Crazy!!! Literally crazy but I like being able to get an in-depth look at what happened during the earthquake (or volcano eruption 😉)

Babies on the brain
As much as I love the series, this collection of shorts feels like scenes the author drafted, but threw out because they didn’t work within the story,.. and then, on a slow news day, she dug them out of the pile, uncrumpled the notes, and slapped them together. It’s just flashes of domestic life, heavily focused on the kits (babies) that have resulted from the HEAs. I read romance for the romance, and not for the breastfeeding, sleepless nights, and pregnancy ailments.
