Even better than the movie!

I loved the movie but, as usual, the book is SO much better! It's actually a bit of a different story; better in my opinion.

A Great Ride with Bev Donofrio!

You rarely hear a coming of age memoir with such wit, comedy, and vulnerability. How Bev manages to take her life trials (that another woman might cry about) and keep the whole world laughing is beyond me. I saw her do a live reading and knew I had to get her Audible book. I was not disappointed. LOVED IT!

It was a short listen but an amazing story. I really loved listening to this after watching the movie when I was a kid. I’m sad it was so short though, I wanted it to keep going forever

of course the book will ve different from the movie, and at the beginning it bothered me (because I love the movie so much!); BUT by the middle of the book I absolutely LOVED that every concept from the box is played out in the movie even if the scenario is different [Example all the female characters in her life take the role of Fae in the movie]. I very much enjoyed the book!!

The book was very different than the movie. So different that they are almost different stories. I did really like it though, I thought it was real and honest.
