Romance. Adrenaline. Raw.

Not one for romantic novels, but the rawness and underlying love for the mountain made it one of my favs. Couldn’t quite listening.

Chapter 34-36

It’s been a long time since there’s been a book that has been a tearjerker to me. Those last two chapters had me feeling like I was right in the story. The Ups And Downs of this book were perfect and all the right ways it makes you question your love, it makes you, want to relieve your past and never take anything for granted seize the moment and all that good stuff from picking up this book on Thursday to finishing it. Friday afternoon was a perfect way to escape my days.

Not currently bawling my eyes out

This book was PHENOMENAL. I think this has made it to the top of my favorites list. I absolutely fell in love with Chase and Brooke together in this story. The emotions are so raw and profound that you begin to feel yourself having similar emotions in reaction. Chase is just wow. A broken man healed by love. I really cannot even begin to explain how much I loved the character that is Chase Austin. I’ll forever love this story.

Loved the Storyline

The Ups and downs were great! Characters were all great. I loved everything about it!

Broken/rebuilt love

I really wished it had a better ending but it was a fabulous book. I listened to it while I was at work and told my coworkers to not talk to me because the book was too good to pause haha

No Male Narration

I’m 35 chapters in and there’s no male narration like the story is advertised. Very disappointing even though she does a good job imitating a male voice.

understanding of healing and love

love comes in the most unexpected ways, but that is the magic of love. this story is beautiful and worth the read. thank you for this story

Enjoyable listen.

I liked the book, but it was repetitive in places, which made it somewhat tedious. Also, Joe Arden only narrates for a few minutes.

There are narrators on my list of “must listen to” books, and Joe Arden is one of them. This book is almost entirely narrated by Maxine Mitchell, who I like as well, but it wasn’t their usual dual narration. Lately I have purchased audiobooks only because of the narrators to later find out that the ones I bought the book for only get to read the Prologue/Epilogue, and that’s it. I consider this practice deceiving unless it is disclosed along with the narrators info.

Great story

The story was great. Snowboarder and photographer. I was very upset
by the fact this was not a duet performance with Joe and Maxine. FYI Joe is BARELY in this book. He’s a guest star, if that. But again the story was great. This needs to be redone as a duet with Joe and Maxine.
