Restoring Passion pulls together all the characters from the first two books in the DIY series. While this book is shorter, it still packs a punch. Will the relationships that have formed stand strong, or will everything crumble...

Another fantastic story by Sandra Kyle and narrated by the talented Kelley Hazen. I look forward to more of their works!

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it very entertaining even though I don't usually listen to contemporary romance. Daniel's world starts to crumble after Jack foils the blackmailers efforts. They're is blackmail pictures and murder standing in his way to get his life back in order. The interesting cast of characters bring the story alive as Daniel tries to solve the mystery. My only complaint, it was too short.

A Picture Says a Thousand Words

Vanessa and Daniel had it all until a picture appears and tears them apart. Restoring Passion is such a great story. Things are not always what they appear, and this book is perfect at that. I loved the twists the author, Sandra Kyle wrote. Kelley Hazen was spot on in her performance. She brings the characters to life with distinguishable voices and realistic emotions. This book is a standalone listen and part of a series.

A very good ending to the series...

The last book in the DIY series is the best of the three - it's a very good ending to the whole set.

In the final installment in the series we are back to Vanessa and Daniel - and finally this is the kind of romance I like best. It has everything a good romance should have: strong emotions, real tension between the main characters, a serious obstacle / problem they have to solve and a test of their love they have to pass to stay together - and a bit of a criminal investigation which makes matters more interesting:) The fact that it's also a bit shorter than the first two books definitely helps, too - the pace is faster, the plot more concise and logical, and the psychology behind the characters' behaviours more plausible and believable. It's definitely 4-4.5 stars for the plot:)

Narration by Ms Hazen is very good throughout the series. She keeps up the good pace of her reading, she does voices really well and makes the characters come to life with her acting skills. A very good interpretation of the whole set of books.

Great Read

Restoring Passion: A DIY Romance Book 3 by Sandra Kyle was a great read. This is a continuation of Vanessa and Daniel's story from book two. Vanessa is given photos that change everything for her. I loved reading Vanessa and Daniel's story at restoring the past passion that they once had. I absolutely loved reading Daniel and Vanessa's story.
