Again, I love this series...I love the relationships that are formed and the deeper roots of their meaning for Sunshine. I love the way ShadowBeast maintains his Alfa-Assholeness but still loves his mate to the core. He's not only in love with his Sunshine, but he respects her.

The only thing I was missing was the wedding, babies, and rebuilding of the Shadow realm. And Im hoping that we learn more about Simone's and Lucian's relationship and see if Shadow 2 and Angel can evolve into something more intimate 🥰.

Owes me nothing but more story. from beginning to end, action ,love, sex and battle. Love the character development and witty in er monologue. just more please!

I am on like round ten of listening to these books and I hate when they end. I wish I could read them for the first time again.

I loved all three of these books. they were so well written and the actors were amazing. if you love supernatural spice you'll love these ❤️🥵

The ending or is it

Not gonna lie, for a good portion of the beginning I was literally asking, where is Shadow, Inky, Midnight, Angel and Samone. I thought of the answer but thought, no way, no way could she have done that. But yes, yes she did do that. I wasn't a fan of the memory wipe thing or how Mera was placed back with her former pack and that whole thing but the book overall was good. I will say the cover art kind of gave away the ending and made one of make you cry parts not as dramatic and I did kind of like the end with the surprise twist, minus the fact that sometimes a real, honest, no fixing it tear jerker is nice, makes it feel more realistic and less fairytale like.

good story. love the previous book... but too butch sex and not enough story in this book.

It feels like the focus of this book is sex. Which don't get me wrong I LOVE a book with spicy scenes, but there is a such a thing as too much. The previous 2 books were great. They had lots of character development, story and a plot to follow. Most of the time it left me in suspense, and the first book left me in anticipation of shadows and Miras spicy scenes to come; the second book gave me the spicy fix I needed without there being too much of it to drown out the story. But this book is almost like there is a sex scene every 5 to 10 min. It's overpowering the story and taking away the anticipation that builds when you space out the spicy scenes. It takes away from the feelings those scenes are supposed arouse from you when there is too much of it. At this point I might as well be listening to a porno with some story sprinkled in.

However even with the annoying amount of sex scenes that litter this book, I will continue to read/listen to the complete series because the author did such a great job at establishing the story in the first 2 books, that I'm willing to overlook the porno feeling for those sprinkles of the story I crave.

I started reading the book before audio came out just because i couldn't wait. Then half way through I seen it in audible and i had to purchase it. Glad I did. It was everything i hoped for after reading the first two books.
