Best Intro Ever!

I’ve read a lot of early Church history, and this is the best combination of historical information and theological synthesis that I have encountered. Highly recommended!

Excellent overview of early Church history

The content & narration are excellent. This is a brief summary of the teaching & beliefs of the early Church.

Breadth

Though I expected more primary source material, I definitely appreciated the breadth of the work.

Great outline and perfect bite sized chapters on each topic so you don’t get too bogged down at once. Absolutely loved it and can’t recommend this book enough.

Great Early Church Written

Some repetitive topics but those topics are important. This is a great read. I also purchased the book as a read along.
