With so much technology today, people forget how to be organic. For those who have a farm or planning to start a farm, this is the right book for you. You'll have fresh eggs constantly in no time and not have to worry about the shady things that corporate ran farms do that effect, consumers. My brother is considering starting a farm. Amazingly helpful

A great resource for a beginner trying this for the first time. I have an empty chicken coop. And now with this book I’ll be able to select the right chickens, select the right food, go egg hunting, and I learned how to protect them. The author also included pitfalls and diseases to watch for. Awesome book.

Great for choosing breeds

I love chickens. They are just the best backyard animal. Not only are they useful by producing eggs but they are also so fun to watch! I think of mine like pets that also give me yummy food. :) I'm always interested in learning more about chickens and how to make my setup better. One of the things I've been considering a lot lately was breeds. Looking back, I wish I would have chosen a different breed to start with. But, here I am. So, this book really helped me decide which breed would be better for me moving forward.
