This is the first book I have read by this author and I am inspired to read all his work.

I enjoyed it very much. The consistency of being remindered to take our eyes off of ourself and looking to Jesus was thought provoking and heartfelt to actually call upon the Lord In every situation and walk with humility with everyone. Totally Awesome!

I Love this book! I am not a beginner, but this book is filled with fantastic insight. It is so enlightening and helpful for deepening my own Prayer life as well as guiding others to greater union with our Blessed Lord. I highly recommend this book for everyone. I know I will refer back to it many times, and I'm sure I'll read it again. Soon.

Not much on prayer

Surprisingly very little info on actual prayer, more on Catholic Christian doctrines and dogma. Ironically Peter Kreeft gives the example of the theologian who would rather hear a lecture about heaven than go to heaven. This is a book that has a lot about prayer but almost nothing about how to actually do it.
