excellent story and narrating

I am a cozy mystery junkie and quickly fell in love with this storyline. Narration is excellent, no fake or phony accents to get distracted by, narrator has a good cadence. You very quickly get attached to the characters in the story and want to get to the bottom of the mystery. I will definitely tune in to the next book!

Just ok

The storyline was enjoyable. The narrator was very unpleasant. I would have enjoyed the book much more without a different performer.

This is a good story with humor and mystery. Just right when you're in the mood for a light read.

A fun who dunnit easy read

Enjoyed it, performance was great. Not much on any of the ghosts or cat secret world as in the other books in this series, but still fun to figure it out.qq

Story Ok - Narrator Not So Much

I think the story would have been more enjoyable if the narrator wasn't exuberantly shouting through every scene. She was shouting through every word and inappropriately excited throughout the book. The book itself was ok. It might be more enjoyable reading the book rather than listening to it. The narrator is why I won't listen to the other books in this series.

A cut above the average cozy mystery

The plot itself and even more so the unfolding of the plot was inventive. The main characters are very engaging and well developed. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for each of them.

liked the story, did not like the narrator

It was a good story and I think I.would enjoy more stories in this series but ain't can't get past the narrator. That was terrible! Just a few minutes in and I was ready to delete. I stuck it out and did Luke the story, I just won't be able to listen to anymore.

Quick listen but a little bubble gum. The story and the main character's reaction to things was a little superficial and unbelievable but it was entertaining enough. The narrator did a good job with what she was given but she did sound a little too upbeat for most of it.
