Molly Madison has barely had a moment to catch her breath after moving to the sleepy beach town she now calls home. When Molly’s friend is arrested for the murder, she’s not sure who to believe anymore. Is the case as simple as the local cops make it seem, or is something more devious afoot?

Cute

If you’re looking for a beach read in the middle of summer, then this series is it!

Great dog centered mystery

i like first person narratives and everything else was great - characters, plot, writing.

this is a cute palate cleanser

After finishing "The River Is Waiting" by Wally Lamb, I was looking for some cute palate cleansing books that didn't require a lot of emotional investment and this series was adorable.I am a dog lover however. I do think in this book in particular, the author missed an opportunity to close a loop with one of the characters. I felt like the golden retriever storyline could have been wrapped up with a bow with the border collie story line. I was looking forward to having that in the ending. But that did not happen. This book ended kind of abruptly which left the story feeling unfullfilled.

But if you like dogs , want a quick easy listen this is a cute series.

Where is the next book?!!

I listen to both books back to back and loved them. I hope there will be more books in this series.

I hope Ms Rothschild continues writing this dries. i enjoyed #2 as much as #1. In the meantime, I will read another of her books.

Good book, great actor

This was a good listen, entertaining, humorous, and the main character is likable. I also learned about some dog breed’s behaviors and strengths. Actor does a great job.

Playing dead

Excellent story excellent plot love the dogs realistic information. A lot of good dog training, tips as well as wonderful narration. Can’t wait to read more.

I love all the dogs. Sorry line was great and had meaning. I really enjoyed it.

How many pets can one person have?

Good mystery. Mollie and one of her dogs find another dead body and she can’t help herself but to try to solve it. More side characters. Lots of other issues covered, some not commonly discussed. Trigger warning for eating disorders.
