Great read for entrepreneurs

Important and helpful information for life

This book contains helpful information for improving your relations with other people while getting what you want out of life. My favorite chapter talks about body language. So much can be learned from watching other people's body language and improving your own. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook.

These persuasion techniques work on the subconsciousness , and can yield top-notch results, if understood and used properly. The foot in the door principle means that prior to asking for a big favor, you should ask for a smaller one. By first asking for something small, you’re making the individual “committed” to helping you, and the larger request acts as a continuation of something technically already agreed upon. Learn the art of persuasion. Learn how to develop your personal influence to get people to see your point of view and do what you want. Whether you're arguing for a new Xbox or you're trying to persuade your boss to let you take an extra day's sick leave, a few common persuasion techniques apply.

Absolutely fascinating!

Lots of sensible ideas based on research and studies. Putting to practice is the tough part. Four more words required! One of the very best books that I have ever read concerning human behavior! EVERY salesman MUST read this book!!!

Lie to get ahead?

Good premise but suggestions of lying, manipulation, and faking were not necessary.
Can be confident and persuasive WHILE maintaining integrity, not having to be "sneaky".
