After quitting his job at a toxic company, Shiro Amata moves into the house his grandmother left him in her will. There, he soon makes two life-changing discoveries: one, his grandmother was really a witch from another world, and two, said other world is just on the other side of her closet door! Chill slice of life

Great story and narration. Narrator’s attempts at making a feminine voice made me cringe. Hope we can see a duo cast for future books.

that was way better than i expected, a pleasant surprise. cant wait for volume 2.

Simple but Cute

This is far from original and has a very simplistic, childish plot. However, it is pretty sweet and has a nice mood to it, so if you are looking for a time killer in between releases of your favorite series, this one isn't terrible. At least the MC isn't a wimpy, game-addicted loser who hates human interaction. He's actually a pretty steadfast guy and the narrator makes him sound a bit older than I think he probably is, which helps.

Speaking of the narrator, I was very skeptical of him when I first heard him since he sounds more like a construction worker to me, but he quickly grew on me and actually did a good job.

So, overall, it's a bland, simple, derivative story but it has its charms. I would probably listen to any sequels if/when they become available.

the story is great, but...

The story is wonderful, engaging and fun. but the voices feel really off, Anya's voice made me physically flinch at how wrong it sounded. I regret purchasing this audiobook for that reason, since Anya's one of the main characters.
