What Happened???

I'm so sad to try and listen to this book!! I was saddened to learn if Scott Pratt's death but pleased to know the Billy Beckett series would continue, however this book has a new narrator and I'm sorry to say he is horrid. I have to say for me it ruins the entire book. I will force myself to finish it at some point but it won't be for a while, not until I can get the original narrator out of my head. why would you switch narrators so close to the end of the series? If there are plans for another book, sadly it won't be near as good as the ones previous to this one. maybe this one should be re-read so it can have the vocal connection to the past 4 books.

I really enjoy Billy. He picks up some unusual clients and it’s fun to see how he helps them along the way. Great series.

Storyline

I was not impressed with the narrator and of this book as was in the prior books.

Not as good as the previous ones

Tim Campbell really needs to do the narration. The story line was not as exciting

Decent Story, Repetitive Theme

I like the Characters, but the story was repetitive and kinda lack luster. Narrator was not so great with the Southern accents.

Very disappointed

Very poorly written and the production and reading were not good and not up to expectations for this author.

They change the narrator

In traversing the entirety of the five-book series, I found each installment to be a compelling narrative. However, my engagement took an unexpected turn in the latest book due to a shift in narrators. Regrettably, this alteration lessened my overall enjoyment, as the new voice seemed to alter the tone and connection I had developed with the story and characters throughout the series. Despite this, the series as a whole remains commendable, and my preference for the earlier narrator highlights the impact a consistent voice can have on the reader's experience.
