Osho speaks about the great harm that all organized religions have done to humanity by dividing man against himself, by creating a division between head and heart. Man has become a split personality fighting with himself and projecting his fight onto the outside world. Osho's meditations are designed to heal these wounds and bring about a return to a natural state of self-integration.

Osho brings up how from our childhood we are forced to conform: to essentially become like everyone else. The irony is we are all born as unique and societies goal is to remove the individual self thus creating the unthinking hive mind. Osho recommends that we embrace our authentic selves. One interesting concept that Osho brought up was how a cloud hangs in the sky and doesn't complain about where it is going. If the wind blows south then the cloud will go south and if the wind changes direction and blows north than it does not complain. This was just an example of surrender and I genuinely liked how he explained it. Later on in the speech during the second part he starts speaking about sensitivity and how men especially are told not to cry. Almost as if society has a vested interest in you being unfeeling and hard hearted. Osho suggested that when a person meditates more they will find they are more susceptible to being sensitive. He made it clear that humans are born sensitive and are taught to be unfeeling. None of this is natural and he makes it clear that humans should embrace their unique identity and be willing to feel as well. Both of these things are suppressed by society and that is the topic this speech addressed.

Authenticity and sensitivity: How to embrace your true self.
