well that was terrifying

scary and hard to put down! a good story that felt a little too real at times! seriously, who wasn't afraid to open their eyes as a kid when they were alone in the dark?

Thrilling, spooky masterpiece

I’ll admit, I was skeptical that Charlie from the Mighty Ducks could tell me a good horror story but let me tell you, Joshua Jackson KILLED this narration. The story had me hooked from the first page and I simply couldn’t stop listening until I finished it. This is such a fantastic fusion of true crime and the paranormal. 12/10 would recommend!

Not what I expected.

I had my doubts about this book at the beginning but after the first chapter I was hooked. I thought the narrator was a good fit for the character and didn’t get the same take as some of the other reviewers who didn’t like the narration. I do like this genre, add in the fast-paced story line and spookiness, it was definitely an enjoyable book.

Breathtaking to the end

First, Joshua Jackson was the perfect choice for this book. He is easy to listen to and carries emotions in his voice well.

The story itself, I thought would be cliche but it turned out to be well written and very edge of your seat. Thanks Andrew Pyper for a great listen!
