Wow Wow Wow

Obviously read the book back in January but the GA brings it to life, like it’s a new story! 10/10 performances, can’t wait for the second half!

excellent story telling! better than I'd anticipated!!

I fell in love with the graphic audio for both fourth wing and Iron flame and have been eagly anticipating the graphic audio for Onyx storm part 1, especially in deverelli. when Violet and crew are in the bookstore, Mira's reactions were exactly as I imagined when I first read it on release day January 21st. so looking forward to part two!!!!

Great performance

Really liked this -just disappointed to wait two months for part 2. Caught things I missed when I read the book. Dramatized is addictive

I’ve miiiiissed this world, waiting JUST for the Graphic Audio dramatized audiobook. 😭💜

Not going to ruin (much) for people…

BUT…

horned turtle (a very, “young lady, you take that out of your mouth right this second!”, moment. 🤣)

And Mira’s CHORTLE… holyhell, girl can SNORTLAUGH with her GUT!

INCREDIBLE!

Onyx Storm as a regular read was a 10 out of 10. But Graphic Audio takes it to an entire new level and I would say it’s a 20 out of 10. Incredible performances, great background sounds and I can’t wait until part two comes out! All of the voice actors as always are incredible. And the humor from Ridoc and Mira was top-notch!

Great cast, several production problems

I love the dramatized versions of Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. I've recommended them to everyone I know who liked the books. These voices *are* Violet and Xaden - and Tairn! - to me. Sufficed to say, I was excited for the next installment.

Which is why I'm truly sad to say there was a marked drop in quality with this recording. I suspect it must have been rushed to release. Problems include lines flat out assigned to the wrong actor (starting with Andarna taking a Violet line in the prologue), confusing misreads (Violet saying in Deverelli that Sgaeyl was looking at Xaden with longing when it should have been reversed) and, worst, extremely distracting sound mixing - with music so loud and mismatched that some scenes were nearly unlistenable.

I still enjoyed it overall, which is why I'm giving a (perhaps overly generous) 4 rating. I still love the voice acting of the main characters. I'll still buy Part II when it comes out. But I'd rather Part II be delayed than replicate the quality of Part I.

Spectacular story!

Graphic audio has taken what is an extraordinary story and made it spectacular!

This story has so many ups and downs and thrilling adventures and characters that are so compelling you will want to give up everything in your day-to-day life and just listen. This third in the series is funny and heartwarming and just so dear. Makes you want to read it from the beginning again! Highly recommended!!! You’ll never go back to one D audiobooks again.

Obsessed isn't adequate enough how I feel!!!

I can't describe the emotional distress I am going through waiting for part 2. I haven't read the book yet because Graphic Audio is the only way I can listen to this series. I tried to wait till part 2 dropped so I can binge the entire book. But it was calling me and I almost regret not waiting. This story is delicious and I can't wait to find out what happens in part 2!

I never knew what I was missing.

I had no idea audio books were like this! a full cast of voices, music, echoes & foot steps. I got goosebumps. i want all my books to b like this. love this. give us part 2 immediately.
