Acerca de esta escucha

Join Peter Mandel on his final steps to love in Only You, the highly-anticipated third and final book of Leta Blake's ’90s Coming of Age series.

Despite the lingering wounds of his past relationship, Peter is ready to take a chance on finding love and embracing his true self.

Peter and Daniel explore their connection despite Daniel's complicated home life. But when Adam resurfaces, desperate to win Peter back, Peter must confront his complicated feelings and the painful ghosts of their shared past.

Only You is a powerful and emotional conclusion to the series, and a must-listen for fans of new adult romance and coming-of-age fiction.

Holy emotional!!

loved it! so emotional and beautiful. growing up is hard, then throw in being gay, Bi sexual and Aids. We get our much needed closer on one relationship and a beautiful beginning to another. Its the HEA we were all hoping for. I laughed and cried and will remember this story forever!! you must read the other books first and in order.

A Beautiful Ending About a Beginning

I listened to ONLY YOU with a little regret; knowing it was the end of this heart-wrenching trilogy. Filled with well written twists and turns, Book Three is a perfect conclusion (although I would love the story to continue.) Leta Blake crafted dynamic characters in this beautiful trilogy, and Michael Ferraiulo brought them to life in the most extraordinary way. You will likely fall in love with each of them.

wonderful series

So glad I found a series that follows the same characters all the way through. I tend to find myself always wanting more when I develop a relationship with a book. This one is a great series, don't miss it!

The Journey of Love

Wonderfully written coming of age tale with beautifully realistic, and dynamic characters. This Trilogy will take its place amongst my absolute favorites. Thank you Leta Blake, for being a breath of fresh air in this genre!

Stunning series

I read this series about a year ago and was very excited for the audio version. My reaction was very similar as I started. I had a very difficult time with the cheating in the beginning. Just cringe worthy. But in terms of the overall arc of the series, it was absolutely necessary. I loved the growth of Peter, and especially watching his relationship with Daniel. It’s important to remember that these guys are teenagers and of course they’re going to screw up and keeping in mind where they are emotionally and in terms of maturity. I still wish that we could get a follow up story on Adam. He was awful, but we come to learn that there are reasons why. I think he deserves it. I wish that Leta Blake would consider this. Very important for people to read the follow up spin off of Minty My Skin Begs You Please. I’m certain it’s unlikely that it would become an audio because it may have a limited audience due to subject matter, but it was fantastic.

Beautiful conclusion

Well, I loved this coming of age story centered on a young queer man in the early 1990’s. Peter is a sweet, but perhaps naive, young man finding his own identity in the midst of first love. I wanted more. I’d love to know Adam’s entire POV in this story. I’d love a book from Adam’s perspective, because he really didn’t seem to grasp how hurtful his behavior was. He was so untrustworthy to both Peter and Leslie, and Peter is a naive and maybe an untrustworthy narrator to Adam’s motivations, feelings, and his activities in Rome. I’d love to know if he really was as deserving of his ending in this story. I would have also loved more info on Harold and Robin. I wonder if the book of portraits of Robin contained the story of how he died. It would have changed every single photograph to whomever viewed the book. Why doesn’t Peter share with Harold that he, too, fell in love with a queer man who also had a steady and public girlfriend, while Peter was his passionate secret? It was a correlation not explored. I also hated the things left unsaid between Adam and Peter. For Peter not to at least tell Adam just how hurtful it was to be forced to witness Adam’s physical and emotional love and pride for Leslie was frustrating. It’s so limited in how it’s addressed. I wanted Peter to ask Adam why he had to callously rub his relationship with Leslie in Peter’s face if, initially, it was to “keep them safe.” I’d love an entire book going over senior year and the first year of college from Adam’s perspective. I’d also love more on Minty. AIDS was terrifying back in the early 1990’s. It absolutely was a death sentence. HIV was a death sentence. And Minty is a great character. I hope this author is willing to revisit these characters, because I had a hard time letting them all go!
