Great story, great performance

Such a sad story about love, abuse and betrayal. There were moments I could barely stop tears.

Bad male falsettos

The reading of the women characters was very good, but I had a problem with the “male” voices by the narrator.
The story was good but not very exciting, and fairly predictable.

Lots of characters try to keep up

Great storyline. About 6 different situations right upfront. Usually I rewind to understand who is who but I decided not to this time. I felt the storyline was simple enough to figure it out; it was. The ending is very interesting.
Was there another way to get out?
Fear can plays a big part in your decisions.

A good listen when traveling. kept me interested. first time listening/reading about this author.

once I started I couldn't stop definitely kept me on my edge of seat! the way the story kept taking different angles. enjoyed!

Struggling to get through this

The story seems good but the narration is robotic. It is difficult to stay engaged.

Terrible Narration

The story is pretty far fetched but ok. There are a lot of unbelievable leaps made by the detective and most of the characters are super annoying but it’s not as bad as the narration. The narrator sounds like a robot. There are some point me in the story where it is at as bad but the majority of the story sounds like it’s being pieced together by a computer voice. Would have been really annoyed if I paid for it but it was included so I am giving it a little bit of a pass.

Ok to listen to

This was a story that was ok to listen to. The reader read well. Seems to be the same story as many others.

Slow start, but worth it

It took me a minute to get into it, but about halfway I couldn't stop!
