Feels like fluff at first but then, when you think
I gave this a chance based on reviews but wasn't expecting much. The title and subject matter made me think this was probably a time management book full of little tips. Or, maybe, advice on outsourcing or delegating so that you can be "off the clock". Actually, I guess I'd say it's a time perception and memory management book. After all, isn't that what really matters? What happens to all the days full of trivia you can't even remember? Where did that time go? Did it ever really even happen?
There's a lot to consider here and, up to this point, I have never seen (or heard) this topic approached from this angle. Don't let the light-hearted delivery or intentionally mundane examples / applications distract from what you might find to be a profound message.

Ready to Listen Again
I enjoyed this book so much, I am ready to listen to it again. I have been applying lessons from this book to my life and have really been noticing positive changes. It has helped me understand the importance of how I spend my time and wonderful examples about how to expand and enjoy my time more. I highly recommend this book.

Thought-provoking easy listen
This was a great listen for me during my commute, doing the dishes and any random time I could fit in. I walked away with a handful of truly actionable items for my life as well a few thought-provoking ideas about changes I could make. The content was tangible and told in a way that was engaging.

Time is what I make of it
My first exposure to Laura Vanderkam and her ideas about time. I like how she suggests focusing on small changes that when added up will have a significant impact on how much time we have available for people and activities we derive happiness from in our lives. I am curious to see if my perception of how I spend my time is actually in alignment with how I spend my time, so I am going to download the time tracking spreadsheet mentioned in the book. I like Laura’s conversational style of narration. Overall an easy but thoughtful read.
