Alien starships smashed our defences in a storm of missiles and laser fire ... but a small human fleet escaped into space. Battle scarred but determined to fight on, they could be our last hope.

Captain Jim Garrett thought his navy career was over. But when aliens attacked, he took the helm of an experimental warship, leading her into battle for the first time.

Now, he commands a ragged fleet of ships that survived the alien onslaught. Their crews are inexperienced and exhausted but there’s no time to rest. Garrett must shape them into a lethal fighting force.

His deadliest enemies may come from within. A rival captain threatens mutiny, furious that Garrett is now his superior. And alien infiltrators, disguised as ordinary humans, are hidden aboard every ship, with orders to destroy them no matter the cost.

As a vast enemy force descends on Javelin Station, one of the last strongholds resisting the alien attack, can Garrett seize control of his fleet and strike back? Or will the station, and the freedom of humanity, be swept away by the alien tide?

Off Javelin Station is an epic story of battle and adventure, packed with hard-hitting action and shocking twists. It’s perfect for fans of Jack Campbell, David Weber, and Marko Kloos.

First book felt way too drawn out, with needlessly repeated exposition and detailed descriptions of everything from how minor flight systems worked to the thoughts and emotions of the characters. Felt like you could have cut out 1/3 to 1/2 the total words and not detracted from the story at all. Second book has, I feel, significantly less of that. Feels like we get down to business quicker and the descriptions have more relevance and impact to the story, with less needless repetition. Still room for improvement, but headed in the right direction. Love the plot and story itself. Good characters, making realistic decisions, and feeling like real people. Good narration too. Looking forward to book 3.

Headed in the right direction.

having to wait for the next book which is May 2025. Could have given us some idea how his task force faired before closing the story line

Well written. Well Narrated. Good character development, interaction, action, and story follow through. A nice second book in the series. A bit info on the overall hidden story. Nice reveils with building story elements. A hint of Space Ship Yamato coupled with Battlestar Galatica.

Good Follow Up Book

Marc just keeps on writing great books. I’m not a hardcore SciFi fan however, I’m a fan Marc Edelheit and I have everything he has published. I enjoyed this one as well. Great story well presented. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Oh there are a few Easter Eggs in this book from Stiger’s world. The Deep Dark has moved to 750 MILLION AU’s in outer space, and nothing worth doing is ever easy. Two I noticed perhaps there’s more.

Action, Mystery & Great Sci-Fi

Another epic book written by Marc. When there is so much nothingness in space, you would expect a dull and slow paced story. Marc does a great job developing his storyline and characters. The entire book keeps building in detail and sets your heart beating faster in anticipation.

Total tidal wave of a story
