Fun and amusing

I’m a big fan of this series. Love the world building and the humor. Performance wise, sometimes the narration sounds a bit robotic. I do listen at higher speed, so perhaps that’s not the case at slower tempos.

Thank you for this book

This is a very good book. It does touch on some sensitive subjects, and I recommend the author for not only touching on the subjects, but adding an educational element to the very end of our book. I happen to know this is a serious problem growing up in Missouri. I had several friends married as minors. For Summit, it worked out and for others it did not to disastrous ends.

Tonal inflection at the end of sentenccceeess.

Love the series and enjoyed the individual books. Unfortunately, this reader has a tendency to extend the last word of every sentence. Once I was able to tune that out, I was able to sink into the story.

Incredible work

The story shows how illogical prejudice is over differences between various groups. Addresses child marriage, and shows that most people just want to be alive.

Sounds like it was read by a computer from the 90s

Terrible reader. The book and author are good but I will not purchase any other books with this specific reader.

it was hard to listen too. she female voice dragged out the last word of every sentence it got on my last nerve story was ok

Officially giving up on this series

I got through the first book bc pat was charming and likable. I got through the second so i could see them get their HEA but i just couldn’t this time. She’s great at setting up future story lines, but it’s wasted when she does nothing with them. They made it clear in the first books that Germans were actively trying to border them and plotting to take Deidra and that shes actually bonded to eddie(who’s never mentioned again) and then we find out that she’s still going to europe in this book.

Now we’re told that his fmc betrothed her daughter to adam because they’re forming a bond. And he has his own book where he gets his HEA with the girl he was betrothed to, BUT ITS NOT THE SAME GIRL. So… yeah. I’m done reading anything by this author
