Soooooooooo good

I love this author. I loved this book. Such a sweet love story.
The narrator is also amazing.

I sincerely hope they’ll make more audiobooks from this author’s bibliography

Performance

It was a wonderful plot, but I could hardly get through it because of the narration, very slow speaking and very difficult to follow.

Pleasurable read

Love the characters, even though the heroine was insufferable in the first half part of the book. Slow burn love story with a twist of spy flare.

Excellent writing and story!!!

This was one of the best stories I’ve heard in a while. I am an avid listener (3-5 books a week) so I hear a lot. I love when there is a mystery to solve and not so much animosity between the characters. I wish this author wrote more! She did a wonderful job. Made me cry at the end.

Entertaining

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but I really enjoyed it and hope there will be others similar. Very enjoyable.

Dreadful narration

A book with potential and some witty dialogue is trashed by this reader. She pauses between each sentence sounding breathless- I had to speed it up to make it bearable. Worst of all, she’s unable to pronounce a short “a.” Back becomes “Bock” and “act” becomes “oct.” I asked my English husband if there is anywhere in England where her accent derives, he looked at me like I was crazy.
Please, Ms D’Alessadro, write more books but stay far far away from this reader!
