Excellent narration!!

If you loved the immortal curse series of this author you will love this! So many levels of feelings, relationships, anger, torment, and spice!! I always hesitate starting a new series, but I feel head first into this one after starting!

I “fell” for this story

I loved the voice overs in this audible. The story itself was relatable and full of suspense and adrenaline pumping goodness! The characters are mouth watering and just full of alpha hotness. The storyline isn’t like your typical angels and demons genre. Lexi put her own twist on the characters and made it unique and all her own. Can’t wait for more!!!

Talk about hot hot hot! Love the duet narration. Captivating story line. Steamy love scenes. Excited for the next in series.

Not bad

I really enjoyed the 1st book in this series, kept me entertained throughout the whole story. I liked this one, but it was a tad slower than the first and took some time to get into. It’s normally not like that will Lexi’s books. This story focuses on Leala, ulrich and the other guy who’s name I forgot. Leala finds herself in the prison for no reason and ends up locked in her jail with the two other men, surprise surprise..they are all compatible mates. There wasn’t as much heat with these three as with Raven and her men, but I’m curious to see where the story goes after that ending.

Noir Reformatory First Offense by Lexi C Foss & J. R. Thorn is Book 1 in the Paranormal Prison Series. Amazing follow up to the prequel. The descriptions of the world gets better and better. Loved the characters Layla, Novik and Auroic. This is fast paced with lots of twists and turns and what a cliffhanger ending. Need to know what happens in the next book in series. Cassandra Myles, Gregory Salinas, Kate Williams, Lisa Zimmerman. These four narrators work well together and brought the story to live. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.

Non-stop action, mystery and more ...

Whoa, these authors can really make 9-10 hours feel like about 5 minutes. WHERE did my entire evening go? I just devoured this book in one sitting and now I’m dying for Second Offense.

Obviously I just HAD to read on after reading Noir Reformatory: The Beginning as it was beyond addictive. This one starts out right in the thick of the dark, eventful prison setting and wastes no time whatsoever sucking in the reader, keeping on the edge of their seat for the entire time and then leaving them needing more in a brutal cliffie.

Expertly done, of course, by the cliffhanger queens themselves.

There are several mysteries afoot and it often seems like more questions arise than answers … the excitement is non-stop and neither is the action (of various types, if you get my drift 🌶️).

I cannot recommend this enough. Do read this series in order though.

Even if you’ve read a print or digital copy, you may want to listen to this one as well. It is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Steamy, action packed, and excellent narration

Duet narration, top notch narrators, and a steamy, mystery and action filled story. What more could you ask for?

How about a broody, sexy, alpha male who hardly speaks, unless he thinks its necessary or worth it? How about a royal guard, conflicted over his charges sudden fallen status, and their already strained history when he walked out of her life without explanation years ago - oh, and yeah, he’s super hot too. Then we have the fallen princess, but she doesn’t understand what she did to fall, and insists that she doesn’t belong in the reformatory. But as the reality of the situation hits, and they are fighting for their lives, more secrets are revealed, and alliances are forged. Not to mention giving in to searing passions.

This is a great book two, bringing in the characters from book 1 exactly at the right amount to pull the stories together, and as we get to the end of the book, we are poised on an explosion of pent up frustration and years and years of secrets and deception. Looking forward to Second Offense!

So ready for the next book

Sometimes I really want to strangle this author! She is absolutely the Queen of sucking you into a book then leaving you on a cliffhanger! While I truly enjoyed Nior Reformatory:the Beginning, I completely adored this one. It’s a perfect continuation for this series. I’m not sure if there’s a way to read/listen to one of Ms Foss’s books and not fall in love with the characters. I highly recommend starting this series.

Swooning in Noir Reformatory

Holy goddess this one was amazing. Kale and Gregory with regal British accents? Yeah, I was a goner from the beginning. This is a stunning world and one I hope will be continued in audio!
