there are many mispronunciations. some bad voices and a marine who sounds like luanne from king of the hill

Amazing!

Thank you very much for a great voiceover to an amazing book! It's a great stand along in a much greater overall collection.

Great Book

I was hoping it would start out, where the first book left off..... Honestly, I've had trouble getting into this book... I was like, who are all these characters.... new names.... anyways... more than once fell asleep listening..... It finally started for me to become interesting around chapter 7 I think.... I didnt like the Narrator... there were not enough distinct character voices for me, at the start of the book.

I've read all of Erikson's books and love his writing.... but this one, not loving yet... Maybe after a few more reads, things will make sense to me about that beginning.

Yet another excellent tale of the Malazan Empire! This addition to the Witness trilogy did not disappoint.

Good book

The narrator's whispering is to low followed by loud talking then whispering to low. Narrator skill is good, difference in volume from character to character is my only gripe

Witness the Apocalypse

In No Life Forsaken we're back in Seven Cities and dealing with the fallout of the main series and The Bonehunters. We have the return of Shaik and a fomenting rebellion and traitors everywhere, along with some meddling gods and a couple old friends. It's Erikson's rumination on the desire for apocalypse and the desire for peace. Maybe in oblivion. Its standout character is a priest who doesn't believe in his own goddess. It's another fine novel from one of the best fantasy writers out there. Recommended.

Awesome second entry for The Witness collection

I'm sad about having to wait for more, but it's wonderful to have returned to a legendary cast of characters and story themes. The Malazan universe never fails to impress.

Reader is superb

Excellent story made even better by an excellent reader. It seems that this story has nothing to do with the first book. But that is just the magical slow burn of Erickson.
