Loved It!

Nightmare Island is a standalone, paranormal, M/F, shifter romance that ends in a HEA and is a part of the multi author series, Exiled Sector.

The narration for this audiobook, done by Sarah Puckett and James Cassidy, is amazing. They did a great job giving life and personality to Hel and Ghost and their terrific story.

This story is stuffed full of intrigue, mystery, steam, action, and emotion. I loved Hel and Ghost. I loved Hel's bravery and cheeky attitude, despite all she has been through in her life. I also loved Ghost's mysteriousness and protectiveness toward Hel. I really adored these two together.

The writing, pace, and flow of this story are fantastic, as are the plot, storytelling, storyline, characters, character development, relationship development, and narration of the audiobook. The vivid and detailed world building is also spectacular.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and audiobook and believe it is an awesome addition to this wonderful series.

A bit short

I am not new to Mila's work. this is the 4th or 5th audiobook I've listened to and the 8th or 9th book overall. It definitely has an interesting premise which draws you in but I felt like the book was very short and not a lot happened until the last quarter when it finally got interesting. I also found the female narrator's voice to be very dull and drab so it didn't exactly pull me in. the male narrator was fantastic. overall I'd give this one a 3.5. there could have been a lot more substance and it could have been longer, just not something I say often. usually I'm complaining. books are too long.. This is part of a series featuring different authors so I'm definitely interested in seeing what those might have to offer as well though.

Hold on for the ride, possible triggers!!!!

Okay, Hel went through hell, and Omega's lives are hell. This story is not for the faint of heart. If you have any abusive triggers, this is not for you. The narrators did an excellent job, Ghost is no punk, and quite awesome! (Spoiler) The bad guy is a serious monster, and had it not been for Ghost's quick thinking, they both would have died a horrible death. The story is a slow burn, but eventually turns to fire!!!!! Yes, short and not so sweet, I literally could not stop listening. Worth the credit, and yes, I will purchase the next book in the series. Awesome!

loved it

Another installment of this shared world that is just amazing, while you don't have to read all of them, why not enjoy the entire world. This is the story of Hel and Ghost and what a story it is. So much happens in it, that you can't put it down. There's a mystery going on that will pull you right in. Loved it
