Great read, one of the better books I’ve listened to in a while. I only hope he knows what a great coach he really is.

I was hoping for more

I wanted desperately to like this book. While it had its moments, it’s generally disappointing. The author’s immaturity and petulance was surprising. I was hoping the man behind the game, a game I’ve been watching my whole life, was deeper and had more to offer than what we see on game day but clearly I was mistaken. Danny is clearly a hard worker. It would have been great if he shared exactly how coaches can improve and what they work on during the season and in the off-season. He barely touched on this despite it being a big part of his life. Don’t waste your time with this one.
