I was immediately impressed by the author's introduction where I was able to understand exactly what I could expect from reading this book. His understanding of narcissism and how it relates to oneself and relationships is evident by his descriptions of the complications of being involved with a narcissist or even being one yourself.

Every page of this book is full of vital survival techniques, resources, and encouragement for anyone dealing with a narcissist. It is well researched and the many personal stories from survivors made me feel as if my experience was not unique and could indeed be overcome

Helpful for everyone

I recommended this to several people regarding a narcissistic family member. It explained this family member and gave insight on how to interact effectively with them. Highly recommended to help understand this and interact in a limited family setting. It was very helpful over the holidays and led to a more peaceful gathering.

Great book. It helps to understand both sides of the problem and how to get out of the relationship. Goes to the authors and theories. Sometimes too repetitive.
