Resumen del Editor

The riotous Wynchester family has taken on a new case to expose a forger, but the prime suspect isn't at all what he seems in this captivating Regency romp from a New York Times bestselling author.

Marjorie Wynchester has always let her siblings take the lead when it comes to planning their investigations. But someone in London is trying to pass off counterfeits, and this time she's the only one with the skill needed to find the culprit. Soon, all the evidence leads her straight to Lord Adrian Webb.

Adrian is a roguish scoundrel of the first order, but he never meant to get caught up in a forgery scheme. Especially one that’s snowballed out of control. Now a blackmailer is out to ruin him, and the most alluring woman he's ever met is trying to put him behind bars.

Every time Marjorie thinks she has Adrian figured out, her assumptions turn on their head. He’s a heartless scoundrel. A loyal brother. A smooth liar. A good kisser. Er…wait… Is winning her affections just one more attempt to avoid the law? Or is it possible he’s not such a rogue after all?

Too cutie for my taste

This title works too hard at being quirky for me to really enjoy it but it's not terrible. Narrator did a decent job and the author avoided the endless recaps of previous works that often plague this kind of series

Marjorie takes the lead!

Marjorie has always been the mysterious Wynchesters, so it was wonderful to see her take the lead. The story was fraught and exciting and emotional and once again Erica Ridley makes me laugh out loud. Aiden is a dream of a hero who will fit right in to Marjorie’s wild world.

Great series

I love the Winchesters and all their antics to right the wrongs of others. The family dynamic is fun, entertaining, and endearing. Loved the narrator. Excited for Jacob and Elizabeth’s stories to follow, hopefully to include Iris’s tale as well.

Too much for me

The story had good lore but it was too stressful. Everytime the characters seemed to have a lead it didn't work out. There was one sex scene and then it went back to being stressful. I would not say steer clear at all, just don't listen if you are hyper vigilant.

The Wynchesters, Again

The Wynchesters have caught wind of a forger cheating people out of their belongings with counterfeit coin. Marjorie has never joined one of their investigations before, but she is their resident forger (only if necessary}. She is determined to find and out forge the forger, bring down the criminal, and return the goods to their owners. Adrian is working for the same criminal to pay of a debt, his and his sister’s. He and Marjorie start as competitors and enemies, but somehow end up on the same side. How will Marjorie and her Wynchester siblings solve this one? This is another entertaining adventure with the Wild Wynchesters. This one has theft, forgery, danger, disguise(s), a homing hedgehog in training, a carrier crow, a slimy villain, the usual Wynchester shenanigans, and romance for Marjorie and Adrian. Good story and entertaining narration by Moira Quirk.
