Well Done!

These two have an interesting back story. I liked how Miles is “into” her from the beginning but never that he would have a chance. Nessa has some struggles and she swore to never “like” anyone from the “guy” house again. She never saw Miles coming. I ended up really liking these two. Especially Nessa’s father. What a great guy! Miles family..eh they grew on me.

I did listen to this on audio. Stephen Dexter and Emma Wilder are the narrators. I could listen to these two all day! They always make my day more enjoyable.

Steamy and Heartwarming

I love a friends to lovers story and this one was amazing. Nessa and Miles are adorable and I love how their relationship developed.

Both Ness and Miles have issues from their past that they’re trying to work through. Nessa is still feeling embarrassed from her crush on Percy and she’s still dealing with the death of her mother. Miles is the quiet one of the roommates and blames himself after an accident that took away his twin sister. Miles has always been the one you can count on and he’s had a crush on Nessa. After Nessa has a run in with a guy that won’t take no for an answer, her friendship with Miles gets stronger.

Miles is such an amazing guy and I think he has moved up to my favorite of the roommates. Behind those nerdy glasses is a strong man who has a dirty side that I’m more than okay with. His past broke my heart and how his parents were treating it. Nessa is a sweet girl who was trying to find herself while dealing with personal issues while balancing college life. Miles was protective of Nessa without being overbearing. Their relationship had a nice balance that both were able to thrive through.

I have loved every narrator choice for the audiobooks in this series. Emma Wilder and Stephen Dexter were phenomenal bringing this story to life.

My Next Play

I love these characters and I enjoyed spending some time with them, the story is great and kept me entertained.

I have been looking forward to this story since book one and let me tell you Miles and Nessa are amazing together The story is sweet passionate and with an HEA cannot wait for book four My bad decisions The final book in the series.

I enjoyed the narration they bring the story to life with great emotion.

Hot page turner

This is the 3rd story in the On My Own Series, and Carrie Ann Ryan continues to increase the story's intensity and the chemistry between the characters with each release. Miles and Nessa was a slower burn than the first two as you learn their backstory and present lives, but once they realize they should be together, watch out because their chemistry is pretty hot.

The narration by Stephen Dexter and Emma was terrific; they were the perfect voices for Miles and Nessa.
