Zachariah is her good friend from childhood, and as both of them have lost their spouses, a growing attraction between them makes her wonder if they can keep their relationship professional as they've always agreed to do.

An abbey might seem like a place of solace and sanctuary, but they soon discover that is far from the truth. A sheriff, a lady, her bloodhound, and a little entourage that the sheriff does not approve of, are soon headed to Maltby le Marsh where secrets, horror, and a very active ghost await them.

Charming, Cozy, and Keeps You Coming Back

Another fun, cozy mystery that pulls you in and makes you want to jump right into the next book—especially with King Edward coming! Vivienne and Zachariah’s dynamic keeps you guessing, both in the mystery and their personal journey. And as always, Kevin E. Green brings the story to life with his narration.

I loved the suspense

The story was exciting and new. So many historicals are same storyline just different players, this one was new and refreshing.
the narrator did a wonderful job.

Very engaging medieval mystery

Sheriff Zachariah Fitch and Lady Vivienne Harlowe are heading to Maltby le Marsh Abbey to investigate the discovery of a body behind a brick wall. The duo must unravel the evidence amid secrets and lies while also negotiating the strict religious rules of the Abbey. This is the 3rd book in the series by Elizabeth Rose, but the first one I listened to and it was enjoyed as a stand-alone. The narration by Kevin E Green was outstanding. He performed unique voices for all the characters and brought the story to life.

Murder at Maltby le Marsh by Elizabeth Rose is a fantastic cozy murder mystery. Kevin E. Green did a wonderful job with the narration. Murder at Maltby le Marsh is the third book in A Harlowe & Fitch Historical mystery. The story is entertaining, cozy, interesting, engaging, enjoyable, exciting, little romance, and more. Will Sheriff Fitch and lady Harlowe relationship remain professional or will it become more? What will happen with Sheriff Fitch and his sister? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.
