Great Book!

A well written book with lots of excitement and mystery. Love the Jane Tennison character.

Excellent

I have heard of La Plante but never read but never read her. This is the first book by her I have tried, and it is excellent. The narrator does an excellent job, and the police procedural is detailed and interesting.

Page-Turner!!!

I was completely captivated by this fast-paced, page-turner! The sexism of the past is front and center in this book.

Predictable

IFK I like her writing but it was easy for me to figure out the ending

Enjoyed it, but...

not as much as other books by this author. Great narrator! Will try another book in this series though.
