The series really picks up at #5, and this one is so good! Definitely recommend!

Another great story

I am enjoying all the Mrs. Jeffries stories. Excellent characters and story lines, I am glad there are several more to read.

Not knowing who the villain is.

I thought there were a lit of characters to try to identify and keep track off.

Intriguing story and wonderful vocabulary

These are very interesting stories and the narrator is perfectly suited for the story! It’s an enjoyable and innocent sleuth.

Characters are well-developed, and the narrator is amazing. Story is intriguing. Time period elements are interesting, too.

Huge plot hole!

Huge plot hole, (no bicycle noise just foot steps) and the likability of the neighbor love interest went right down the tubes and biggest mistake the robbed is all of the sentimental unification of the two only likable characters. This is the only book in the series that was awful so far. It's as if someone else wrote it ! So disappointed. And no the last sentence by now unlikable neighbor gives me a sinking feeling about the next book in the series. I have a bad feeling the series has just gone down a dead end path it can't recover from.
