I liked this but didn't love it. I felt super rushed at the end. Like we were told what happens in a couple sentences and then we got a spicy epilogue. I did love seeing the past couple again and the side characters really made this book fun.

Mountain Daddy is a mountain of fun!!

Love this 2nd book in the series by S.J. Tilly so much! IT IS A MUST LISTEN! The cover with WA is perfect! It is hot and hilarious, but heartbreaking, too. I smiled, chuckled, and giggled through a lot of it! Connor Crais & Erin Mallon really outdid themselves! They were absolutely perfect as Luther/ Rocky/Daddy/Papi and Kendra/ Kenny/ BabyDoll/Brat. There is soooo much GROWLY GOODNESS by Connor as Luther! And the contrast between Luther and best friend, Joe/Kendra's dad, had me cracking up -- they have an Oscar & Felix/ Odd Couple vibe...not to mention Joe is a huge c0ck block! Erin was so terrific as sassy, spicy Kendra -- who really is a great match for Luther! Love it when she teases him for being an old man! Plus, I loved the whole thing with Buddy! It's like he becomes the family pet! (So many exclamation points... I know, but Mountain Daddy is a mountain of fun. I've already listened several times, and know it will be a favorite re-listen.)

This story is perfectly balanced with all the right emotions and story and spice! 10/10

plenty of spice, not much story.

first off, I really dislike the snarky, sing song voice of the female narrator. male narrator absolutely fabulous. I was disappointed in this story especially since I liked the first one so much. the most interesting character was a secondary character, Ethan. can't wait for his story! I hope he gets one.

S.J. Tilly has done it again with Mountain Daddy! This story is everything you want in an age gap forbidden romance intense, bold, tender, and scorching hot. From the very first moment, the chemistry between Kendra and Luther (or should I say… Rocky / Papi or Daddy) absolutely leaps off the page. Tilly nailed it: the forbidden tension, the yearning, the push-and-pull, and that perfect balance of rugged dominance with emotional softness.

Luther the flannel-wearing, silver fox mountain man with that gruff edge? He. Checks. Every. Box. Quiet dominance in the sheets, protective softness out of them, plus emotional maturity that makes you both swoon and melt he’s simply irresistible. And Kendra? She’s fierce, curvy, sassy, and the perfect match for him. Their banter, the tenderness they share, and the off-the-charts spice make this book absolutely addictive.

The Story
Kendra thinks she’s found a one-night fling with a hot silver fox she meets at a bar. Their chemistry is undeniable, their night together explosive. But what was supposed to be just once quickly becomes complicated when she sees him again a week later and realizes he’s her dad’s best friend. Luther knows he shouldn’t touch her again, but resisting the forbidden has never been harder. The attraction is magnetic, the tension unbearable, and soon they’re pulled into a romance that’s both dangerous and irresistible.

🎧 Narration
Connor Crais and Erin Mallon took this story to another level. Connor’s deep, growly performance as Luther/Rocky was pure ear candy all that growly goodness 🤤. Erin was spot-on as Kendra sassy, spicy, and full of life. Together, their duet narration made the chemistry between these two characters practically tangible.
