Resumen del Editor

The ideas expressed in Emotional Intelligence 10 years ago have taken on a life of their own. They spurred a movement, with enthusiastic adherents in the business world, in medicine and healthcare, at home, in the field of education and the world at large. Several million people, including business managers, human-resource departments, healthcare workers, teachers, parents, and students, have applied the ideas and principles expressed in Emotional Intelligence to their fields with tangible and quantifiable results.

Leading with Emotional Intelligence Conversations is an ongoing dialogue series that begins with luminaries in the field of business. In the world of business, we have only scratched the surface of how principles of emotional intelligence can increase profitability and efficiency in the workplace.

Jon Kabat-Zinn, is renowned for his work as a scientist, writer, and teacher bringing mindfulness into everyday life. He has dedicated his career to the fields of mind/body medicine, integrative medicine, and self-healing. Here, in this groundbreaking audiobook, Jon Kabat-Zinn and Daniel Goleman explore some of the ways in which mindfulness can be applied by a variety of institutions and businesses to make better leaders and improve the quality of the workplace.

Excellent book for everyone from students to working professionals and public in general

Truly motivating and in many ways an eye opener as to how being present and being human can make a huge difference at work and life. Highly recommended for working professionals who also happen to lead teams. Equally recommended for team members who contribute to the goals of an organization.

These two Gentleman are so easy to listen to

I could listen to Jon Kabat-Zinn and Daniel Goleman for hours. They have this banter that keeps you interested and the topic of course is what keeps all of us in the world. I mean keeps us " in the world." Keeping yourself in the moment is what keeps us out of the Doctors office, listen and find out for yourself.
Great job Guys and keep-um comin'.

It's a podcast & it should be free

I listened to it twice wondering if I missed anything. it rather encourages the audience to buy the books of the both authors, which in fact sounds like an hour long commercial. I wanted to return it. the system refused. I would rather get a zen book instead. the content is not what the title is.
