Once upon a time, a brave knight rescued a young man. Unfortunately, he then spent the next few years bossing the young man around and treating him like a child.
Milo has been burying himself at Chi an Mor, hiding from the wreckage of his once promising career and running from a bad relationship that destroyed what little confidence he had. Niall, his big brother’s best friend, has been there for him that entire time. An arrogant and funny man, Niall couldn’t be any more different from the shy and occasionally stuttering Milo, which has never stopped Milo from crushing wildly on the man who saved him.
However, just as Milo makes the decision to move on from his hopeless crush, he and Niall are thrown into close contact, and for the first time ever, Niall seems to be returning his interest. But it can never work. How can it when Milo always needs rescuing?
From the best-selling author of the Mixed Messages series comes a story about a man who needs to write his own happily ever after.
This is the second book in the Finding Home series, but it can be listened to as a standalone.

Great narration, with the characters voice being true to their appearance in Oz.

When Lily Morton and Joel Leslie comes together it always more then awesome! I wanted to read this series so much, so when I got the chance for the audiobook for Milo, I immediately said yes. And now, that I listened to it, I say thousand more yeses.
There should be classes where Joel Leslie teaches other narrators how to do it this amazing. I mean he is the best narrator I ever listened to - always perfect voices for the stoies and he plays every little detail so well.
I don't know how Lily does it, but every character she writes can be easily fallen in love with.
I fallen in love with Milo and Niall so easily, and hearing them by Joel Leslie was amazing. The voices were just perfect. I love how the narrator gives life to these adorable characters, they're like real persons. The story is so real and with the audio you can so easily picture them in the real life, like you can really meet them on the street and hug them and tell them you love them.
"I will love you right down to my bones until the day we die. We'll argue and fall out and I'm sure at times we really won't like each other, but I will be your fucking cheerleader for the rest of your life because you're epic and I want the whole world to know that shit."
Milo and Niall's relationship was so good. They were meant to be, and I really liked the way their relationship changed and how they fallen for each other. The romance was really good, but it's not a surprise from Lily Morton, just as the erotica! So hot scenes! And with Joel's voice...holyhelllll.
Milo and Niall's first were so so good, I have no words.
I can't wait to read/listen to the other books in the series too. I'm so excited about Gideon, I really really want to know his HEA. I fallen for him too in this book. He was a great brother after all and a great friend too.
"...home is ryding by the side of me."
Highly recommend this!
Amazing story with the perfect narrator.

Lily has become one of my favorite authors to read. Not only do I fall so hard for her characters she has their setting in a beautiful place. Each story I keep loving more and more
I could not be happier to have Milo and Niall finally find their happiness and home within each other. They are perfect.
Niall is such a loving and supportive guy. He is exactly what Milo needed but didn’t see as fast as we did.
I love the banter. I love the banter with Oz and Silas and no one is cuter than Cora Bora. LOL.
Go read this book. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry, I sure did and you’ll fall in love with them all. Let’s just say they are truly a family.
Being on the next book. I don’t want to wait. Lol
Joel Leslie does a perfect performance with accents and distinction between characters. PERFECTION

I loved Milo. He's a character you just want to hug and love on and protect from the world, and I'd give him all the stars if I could. I liked how protective Niall was of Milo, but still allowing him to be his own man, if you will. I really enjoyed them together, I thought Niall was really good for Milo, After his previous relationship he needed someone who cared and loved him for who he was, without trying to change or mold him into something he wasn't.
While brother's best friends is one of my favorite tropes, I've got to admit, I had a hard time with this one. I didn't like being reminded of Gideon and Niall's relationship, especially by Gideon, to Milo. It was icky, yes I said icky, and uncomfortable, and I did not appreciate how Gideon would throw it in Milo's face, at all.
When it was Milo and Niall, or scenes with Oz and Silas, I loved the story, But anytime Gideon was there or mentioned, my enjoyment kind of plummeted. I hated that Gideon overshadowed this story for me. I'm glad he seemed to come around in the end, and apparently I'll understand him more in his own book, but I'm not eager to jump into it, if I'm being honest.
Joel Leslie was wonderful as always. He really nailed Milo's vulnerability. I thought he did a fantastic job with all the different accents and characters, I never once wondered who was speaking.
I'd give Milo all the stars.
