Great Story & Narration🎧4.5 Captivating Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it grabbed my attention right from the start and held it captive to the very end. This is my first book by L. Ann, she is a gifted author with a great writing style and creative mind. The world dynamics and characters she created are imaginative, complex and well developed. Her storylines are original and interesting, I liked her spin on shifters and how she made it all seem realistic and relatable. Cassie walks in on her boyfriend and roommate in a compromising position, she flees and runs to her former home, before it was sold it was her place to go think. She finds a hidden key and enters. Shaun is showering in his pack’s new residence when Cassie walks in. Unsure who she is he goes on the defense, but he soon finds out why she is there, he also finds out there is a spark between them. I really liked Shaun, he has a good heart and is great with and for Cassie. While they both had their own issues, Shaun knew what he wanted, it took Cassie a little longer to come on board. This is one action packed story, I loved how everything played out, in addition to the start of a great romance there is plenty of drama, angst, thrilling suspense and twists, not only with the hunter and who it turns out to be but also with Cassie and her family. I adore the alpha male shifters, the camaraderie between them and how they look out for each other. This is the start of a great series, I am looking forward to what comes next in the series. Thank you L. Ann for this great story.

I listened to the Audible edition, Mike Peterman is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters to life, gives them their voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. He did a great job projecting the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

Love the story, but Peterman drops is lacking

I love the story but Peterman is not the person to do the narration for romance EVER.

Sick. twisted,evil

Sam was a disgusting pos and liar! The three wolf brothers have some major women problems. lol. Cassie really ticked me off, and I could throat punch her hard. Shaun was good to her and so was the pack, but she still acted like a scared victim with him way too often. Cassie acted like she had an intellectual deficit with her behaviors and lack of grey matter.. Sam was such a whiny petulant bully and he sickened me. How could Cassie stay with him 2 years ?? So many surprises, secrets, betrayals and more. Cliffy with evil still on the loose, and more to come from the brothers, mates, and villains. The narrator's voice and expressions brought it all to life.

Great first book!
