Ignore the description and just keep reading

I am using my review for book 1 for book 2 as well because it’s an overall review of the duet and the descriptions for both books are weird and don’t really provide anything but maybe 3% worth of the overall concept for the entire story.

Loved the books (part one and two since it is a duet). However, by the end of the first book I realized the synopsis/description did not actually explain much of the book and it technically contains a spoiler for the second book. I was a little frustrated because I knew one detail that didn’t even play into so much of the drama and said detail wasn’t even mentioned until book 2. But, I guess that’s one way to leave you on your toes the whole time.
There are A LOT of details and twists that make this book way better than described.
If you enjoy a “plot with sex” more than “sex with a plot” you will enjoy this duet. Also, if you like a mean sexy MMC that takes ages to get his head and heart in line, and a FMC that is a tough strong momma bear that still has a soft spot for the idea of love and protection, then you’ll enjoy this story.

Great storyline, great narration, loved this series! The FMC was making me mad multiple times but I realized it was to show the MMC love for her! So good!

Narration Shines, Story Keeps You Hooked

Great narration – the voices were fantastic and kept me hooked. The story was enjoyable overall, with moderate steam, though the heroine did frustrate me at times. A few eye-roll moments, but still a solid and worthwhile listen.

A little better then the first book

DEAR WRITER,

The book was ok. The problem was the story was good but the inconsistencies with the main character. Her insecurities with indecisiveness caused a world wind of frustration reading it. If the main character had some sense of reality, it wouldn't have been an excellent read. Also, the whole KIDNAPPING HER CHILD...... YOUR LIVING IN HIS HOUSE. Her saying that everytime made it idiotic when he kept doing and doing and doing , but arguments never changed. This book helped with her being more vocal about her feelings and her understanding things. But the constant bickering and argumentative attitude was a big turn off to the book.

Great storyline and storytelling by the author and narrators !

Lots of twists and turns in the story! The narrators read the story so well, I could imagine the whole story like it was a movie! Excellent love scenes!

MFC is too annoying and MMC is a Jerk

The MFC was ridiculously annoying. Not sure who or what the author had in mind. The MMF was too much of A-hole and jerk and there should’ve been a trigger warning for excessive bickering. Yikes!!! I found myself hoping both characters would get shot just to end the story. Best characters are the little girl and the dog.

Surreal Relationships

Wonderful storyline with surprising suspense and intrigue. Loved Adrik's character, however found Emery too annoying at times. The outcome with the Yoshi was certainly unsuspecting, yet appropriate. Totally blown away on how brave Issabella's character seemed so intelligent abd brave.

Excellent!

So much action and love in this one! Just when you think it’s almost over - there’s more! But in a good way - I never felt like this was too long at all. The characters are very good - if you like an FMC who constantly needs rescuing. The MMC is actually very patient for a Bratva boss who can’t get his girl to follow orders (hahaha!)

I really liked this duet. Definitely recommend!

Amazing storyline

heartwarming characters in the mother and daughter. Great villians as well. This is the second half of their story.
