Cute holiday second chance/friends-to-lovers book

Exactly what I expect from Piper Rayne - super cute with great characters, a fun story with some funny twists, not too much drama or irritating plot lines. Just a really enjoyable book. Then add two great narrators like Stella Hunter and Shane East, and it just takes it over the top. Absolutely loved it!

A cute romcom for the holidays!!

I loved the first two and this was the perfect, quick sweet (and spicy) romcom story to start the holiday season!

Cute, but predictable

I lived the narrators, but the story was dull and very predictable. I live when Shane East narrates but this book was hard to finish.

This story is such a cute and sweet holiday romance. I've enjoyed reading all of the books in the series, getting to know the characters, and loving the sweet happy endings. I loved the narrators for this story, they did a great job with bringing the characters to life. I love this series, it leaves you with a happy feeling and smile on your face!

Hello Tessa?? (Spoiler)

I was so surprised the family never brought up Tessa’s lack of family to Price as they were both orphaned at the same age? It was such a weird glitch I couldn’t get past. Hate when I’m yelling at my book. Great narrators and heartwarming story nonetheless.

Not bad

I liked this one but the second one in the series is still my favorite.

This was a one night stand/weekend together with a semester teacher-student vibe that turns into insta-love/lust. The insta-love/lust just isn’t for me.

What I did love? Seeing all the couples from the other books! And I did loved the Christmas competition between all the couples. Fun, quick read.

Romance and Family

There is no more satisfying "happily ever after" than one which includes, not only discovering love, but also finding yourself to be part of a big, loving family. With several surprise encounters with "the one who got away," a second chance romance, lots of family dynamics, plenty of sibling shenanigans, and some competitive Christmas contests, this novella has everything necessary for a sweet Holiday romance. Performed by two of my favorite romance narrators in duet, I loved it!

Perfect quick rom com!

The perfect quick-read rom-com! I loved watching Brynn and Pierce rekindle their connection after six years—such a sweet and satisfying second-chance romance. The secondary characters and family dynamics added so much charm, and the duet-style audiobook narration brought it all to life beautifully. A must-read for holiday romance fans!

A check the box Xmas romance

Was there anything about this that wasn’t a romance trope? The family tropes (the dad/brothers who threaten the beau over their little girl/sister). The Christmas tropes (all the Christmas tropes). The family + Christmas tropes (the matching PJs thing just made it seem like those fake, performative influencer families pretending life is perfect).

It didn’t help that Bryn was a passive-aggressive jerk and Pierce was creepily sentimental for someone who didn’t bother to communicate why he cold-shouldered her after their one-night stand (and yet kept a personal item of hers on his keychain for six years). Then the OTT plot of throwing an orphan into an instantly loving, picture perfect family … the syrupy sweetness felt forced,

Then, after all that treacle, the sleazy sex scene clashed big time with the otherwise cozy tone. I love Xmas romance. The duet narration was fantastic. But this was just too much.
