Highly Recommend! Great conclusion to a wonderful series!

Devney Perry is easily one of my favorite authors—if she writes it, I’ll read it, and more than likely, love it. The Treasure State series has been such a joy to follow, and until Merit, I didn’t think any of the stories could top Millie and Ford’s. But Stevie and Maverick completely surprised me—I adored every twist and turn of their journey to happily ever after.

From start to finish, I was hooked, savoring every emotional moment and unexpected revelation. Merit is a perfect blend of romance, heartache, and redemption, making it a standout conclusion to an already fantastic series. While I’m sad to see Treasure State come to an end, I can’t wait to see what new romantic adventures Devney Perry has in store for her readers.

Great story!

This was such and emotional story. Even though they were nemesis they were friends without knowing it. Such strong characters. And I loved the long Epilogue giving us updates on other books in the series! You have to listen!

Good ending to the series

I knew Maverick's book would be a bit frustrating because of his playboy ways in the previous books and I was correct. My biggest issue when we get to the major playboy of the group's story, is the previous girls he was with being constantly thrown in the face of the woman he will end up with. I really wished that hadn't happened as much as it did in this story. Stevie knew what kind of guy Maverick was...she didn't need it thrown in her face time and time again. And then to find out she worked with one of them. Come on. Stevie deserved better than that. Add in the fact that Maverick didn't put the girls in their places like he should have, just really frustrated me.

Parts of this book were very hard to listen to because of his mother's illness and losing her. I lost my mom a little over 5 years ago and at times like this, it's still really fresh for me. I hated the way he was after he lost his mother and how he handled his relationship with Stevie. Once again, she deserved better.

One of my favorite pieces of this story was how well Maverick knew Stevie and she didn't realize how well he knew her. They had been building this deep relationship disguised as hate for a very long time. I was glad when they finally got past everything and could be happy.

I thought the narrators did a good job with their portrayals of all the characters.

Absolutely the best story in the series! Best story and satisfying Epilogue! Also - the audio was PERFECTION - both male and female. Megan Wicks is wonderful (sounds JUST LIKE Emma Stone) and her inflections are spot on. Robert Hatchet has quickly become a favorite as well. So awesome!!!
