Resumen del Editor

In his discourses on Tao, Osho speaks of the basics of Taoist life: wholeness and the importance and difficulty of attaining balance, or remaining in the middle. These remarkable discourses are original, live recordings made during Osho's extemporaneous daily talks to audiences of disciples and visitors at his meditation retreat in Poona, India. His talks were, and continue to be, central to his work as a mystic trying to find ways to share his experience. And as you listen to this great teacher, you too will enter a state of meditative awareness and come to a new understanding of the freedom and joy of the paradoxical way of the Tao.

Osho is an enlightened mystic whose spontaneous talks to disciples and friends have been transcribed and published in more than 650 books in 35 languages worldwide.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"Osho is not trying to purvey information, but a truth that bypasses conscious thought and all that belongs to it, just as the most important activities of human beings bypass the mind." (Bernard Levin, The Times [London])

The science of being

An excellent compilation of Osho’s talks on Tao.

I liked very much the Tao perspective on the duality of reality: woman/man, day/night, pure/turbid, movement/stillness.

In addition, listening to Osho’s voice is very inspiring.

Now you know the way

For those not familiar with Osho, this is a good beginning. Here is a master teacher, a wisdom guru, who chops the meat of Taoism into manageable bites. His lucid explanations of the Tao make it easily accessible for the Western mind unfamiliar with Eastern thinking. Combining deep insight with a gentle, and at times humorous approach, the listener interested in knowing more of the Tao will find Osho's meditations very rewarding.

Funny and Enjoyable for Osho fans only

If you like Osho, you'll love his humorous "meditations" on the Tao. Taken from a talk at Puna, the background noises are apparent, but the honesty, humor and teaching is clear. It's not as much a straight-forward explanation of Taoism or the Tao Te Ching as a non-Osho person would like. The context is different than just explaining the Tao.

If you like Osho, get this one. It's a keeper. If you don't know Osho or don't like him, it'd probably be better to have an idea of what Osho's about before getting this one.

Difficult to understand

Osho publishes excellent books, but when it comes to an audio tape, he's just too difficult to understand.
