not my favorite narrator

Would I listen to it again: not entirely sure - would probably read it instead
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes
What did I like about the story? reasonable pace, likeable characters and interesting plot.

Jesse is a kind / gentle omega who does what's expected of him. His father arranges his marriage to the daughter of a neighbouring alpha and she turns out not to be a good person. Jesse met Maria's "black sheep brother" Elias at the wedding and felt an instant connection, through a series of events that include subterfuge, family goings-on and treachery, the two are forced to spend time together ... but is it enough.

I'm on the fence on the narration, Jeffrey A Hering has given each character his/her own voice and the emotions and inflections are all good, but I didn't like the girls voices, Maria's voice grated on me and it stopped me from becoming immersed in the story.

I wish it didn't have to end. I highly recommend the fun listen. I want to check out more books by the author.

Great

Liked this listen. The storyline was great loved the way it flowed and the characters are great together. The narrator did a amazing job with the characters loved it from start to finish. Can’t wait to listen to more by this author and narrator.

betrayals

Duplicity, betrayals, and more. Maria was an evil living nightmare! Elias was a savior and safe port in a hurricane of evil. The parents were narrow minded and had tunnel vision. Many tense moments . Good ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Fantastic, fabulous

Noah Harris, you did it again. fantastic book, great read.
This book is full of excitement, lies, deception, betrayed, everything a book should have.
Athough Jesse was force into a marriage he didn't want he did it out of loyalty for his pack. And in the end he got Elias his traitorous wife's twin and his happily ever after.

Taboo done right!

Sweet story with many twists and turns. Taboo topic of being with the wrong twin was broached successfully and eloquently. It was not a taboo for taboo sake but a taboo breach with a good cause and meaning.

Good story

I liked this story. It's not what I thought how the book would go. Had some good sexy times. Not angsty. The narrator is not my favorite. His main voice is good but all of the other character voices are not the best.

couldn't put it down

I loved it, it's 1:30am because I wouldn't stop the audio. Definitely worth the listen!

Had to speed it up!

I really struggled to finish this one! The story itself was great but the narrator's pace and voices were horrible. Would have enjoyed reading it much better.
