Lovely story great narration

Excellent writing with wonderful characters and interesting story. The narrator is also very good and enhances the experience

Nice reliable historical romance.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

An enjoyable evening spent listening to the book, nice narrator. I won't say it is the most memorable, but light and breezy.

Happy ending

I hated Tess’s attitude but towards the end she came around. I love happy endings and some future details. Well done!

One of the better romances & has a storyline

This is one of the more intelligent romances that I've listened to lately - a novel with a story that can stand on its own if the sexy bits are removed, Very pleasant story and nicely read. The intro worried me as it was read with an American accent, but the actual story was read with an English accent, so I was relieved. I also enjoyed the setting and Welsh characters.

Excellent story with two secrets that are cleverly hidden.

I enjoyed this book as it had both a decent storyline and an excellent reader when compared to other romances.

Disappointing

I didn't care for this one as much as the stories for Leaha and Ann. I didn't really understand Tess' character so I couldn't identify with her or be sympathetic. it felt like she was the cause to all her problems. Worse, she did nothing to mend the violation from her brother. It didn't seem realistic they would have both gotten over the deception so easily. But what really ruined it for me was the thieves, her brother & SIL got away without any consequences. The narration was ok but I couldn't warm to the story once I realized justice was never going to be done.

Just an OK listen

A "nice" story about a fortune hunter who marries a supposed heiress who keeps secret the fact that she has lost her fortune. They fall in love anyway and live happily ever after. The end.
There are better ways to use your credits!
