The narration was phenomenal!!

I fell in love with the book and hesitant to listen to the audible because I had Cash's Irish voice in my head and didn't want to be disappointed. the narrator's Irish accent was great and made you feel like you were in New York with The Kelly's. Great story and great performance by the narrators.

I didn’t much care for the Hero, for the first few chapters, of the book, however, he grew on me.

This is a mafia type book, so there is some violence but, it wasn’t overly descriptive. The intimacy wasn’t overly graphic, either.

What I liked most about this book is that there were quite a few poignant phrases that made me think; I appreciated it. Overall, I’d consider this a credit worthy listen, however, listening to book one first, makes this book a better experience.

Perfect performers

This book is a fave of mine by Bella Di Corte. Richard Sawyer nailed Cash Kelly’s character. I literally swooned. It was pure eargasmic. Keely is narrated by Vivian Bradford and she did phenomenal. I was hooked from the get-go. This is one not to be missed!

Very Enjoyable!

I always enjoy books by this author. I hesitated to pick this one up because I love Mariposa and Capo so much that I didn't want a silly irishman to steal the spotlight. As you can guess, the silly irishman became my favorite. The narrators are amazing in this one BTW. The only critique that I have is a childish/petty one. After a while the talk about stealin’ hearts became repetitive, but I would gladly listen to the author say it all day long. So… I’m not sure if there really is a problem there.

I liked the first book more and think you need to listen to it first to get the most. I enjoyed this it was a little long. Dont know if ill get the 3rd. I think it was still worth the credit

Cash & Keely

Bella Di Corte captured my attention again with the second book in her Gangsters of New York series. This enemies to lovers story has so many twists and turns I was on edge during the story and the love that builds is one that filled my heart. Cash is freshly out of jail, and ready to seek his revenge. He will get back what was tken from him, Hell's Kitchen and something of value to the one who took it all from him. After all, he is the Marauder for the organization. Keely seems to be fair game. Fiancé to the arresting police officer, Cash takes her and makes her his fiancé. And our story truly begins. This mafia romantic suspense has all the qualities I love. Fantastic, gritty characters, danger, a build of feelings and an outcome that just explodes! Cash, though raw and savage, he has a heart when it comes to Keely. It takes a while, but he shows i. Keely is incredibly independent and stubborn. I love her sass, her spunk and her loyalty. This is just as good as the firs book in the series, and I can't wait to hear what she has in store next for us!

Narrated by the talented team of Vivian Bradford and Richard Sawyer, we are treated to a performance that truly enhances the story. Bradford gives all the attitude and sassiness to Keely, keeping her strong and vibrant. Sawyer is gritty and raw, giving that hint of danger to Cash. With an array of others as well, these two give each character a separate voice and keep the story captivating. I loved it!

Loved the storyline, characters, narration and ending. The accents were spot on! This author sucks you into the story from the first chapter. Couldn't stop listening.

Captivating!

This is the second book in the Gangsters of New York Series, a Mafia Romance. Cashel (Cash) and Keely's story is entertaining, suspenseful, and filled with twists and turns. The characters are well developed, complex,and intriguing. The world building is captivating. This is a great enemies-to-lovers romance. Vivian Bradford and Richard Sawyer did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Mercenary, the next book in the series. #SpectrumAudiobooks

I read this book a while back, been waiting for the audio……..Gotta Say, the book was a 10 the Audio a bit of a let down.( The female narrator starts off not so great but gets progressively better) . The story really is worth braving through!!! The Male is awesome!!!
Bella de Corte’s mobsters are great, well written, thought out and sexy as hell!!
If you are a reader I highly recommend her mob books! The pages will burst into flames as you go… there that good!!!
I hope Audible is bringing all her works to us sooner than later!!!!

Meh

Although part of a series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. The narration was great, the story had potential but the execution failed. Again, the author was so wordy that I tuned things out without missing anything. The plot was great and flowed well, but just too many words.

Theres an editing issue Chapters 3 & 4 are the same exact chapters
