He Nerfed Vincent!

Why do authors build characters spend time building them up and just nerfe the hell out of them? I liked the book but this book was a disappointment. I'm done with it.

First 10 hrs serve as setup for last 7

Good book for this genre, great narration. First ten hours are forgettable setup for last seven. Side characters are 2.5 dimensional with slightly more depth to them than is normal for this genre but remain side characters focused on the MC. Espoused morality tends towards being a bit obnoxious. Scope of world is wider than the first book, even if you haven't read first book might be better to start with second as this is a much better book.

Wonderful

Keep doing what you’re doing. This book does a wonderful job of keeping your engaged the only think I wish it had some part from other perspectives seeing how truly in pain Vincent is

A near perfect continuation

i won't spoil the plot but all the action of the first book can be felt at higher levels in this book. not only that but the character relationships are better developed and had me focus when they occurred. i won't say its the best but its in my top 5 on story writing. i laughed, i cried, i even gave a bombastic side eye. Travis did what he does best which is convey the story clearly, with enough differences to spark the characters to life. This is a series to keep track of and I'll be waiting for book 3 should it make its apperance

This one is a duzy.

This book is masterfully written and really makes you feel the weight of all the actions and situations it presents. Thanks again for producing another masterpiece.

Many Emotions

I went into this expected a more lighthearted experience and some fun, witty, banter. I've come out of this on the verge of tears and a longing to have never listened to this book because it took me through more emotions then I thought it could. This books writing is amazing, and the narration was wonderful, but i wish I could've laughed more then felt sad. Here is to hoping that the next book, if there is one, is lighter.

First day purchase, first day finish. I can't wait for the next installment to come out.

this book was definitely worth the wait but I hope the next book will come out sooner
