Lost the charm of the first book

As other reviews said, it’s not as good as the 1st book. I wouldn’t say it went too dark, it went too serious. Very little humor in this book. I’ll wait for the next one to decide if I’m sticking with the series or not.

Holy Shit

This was amazing, just like the first one Vincent is my favorite vampire and all the character development this book showed my why this is one of my favorite verses

Engaging from start to finish

I lost sleep, I could not stop listening. This book had me pulled in just like Book 1.

I can’t wait for the next one

Looking forward to #3

Liked the way this ended better than the royal road version. I look forward to seeing what's going to happen next.

Yet another great book.

I cant ever seem to get away from this author. Every single book he has is long, filled with a great story I don't want to end, and a narrator who complements the book very well. As always, the only issue is the lack of another book to follow this one.

Great second book!

The beginning and end was very good, however it did get a bit boring in the middle of the book.

An interesting continuation

So, it starts off dark. For an MC that seems way overpowered, it was good to throw conflicts he had to work at from a different angle. The bait and switch on what big evil he would have to deal with was also a nice touch. With how it ended I'm curious what will happen now that such drastic changes have occurred.
Overall i enjoyed, though like with the first there comes a point where story fatigue makes me feel like Vincent needing to sleep. The banter keeps most of it at bay. I'll be looking forward to reading the next one.

Well that just happened

I've listened to this book several tines now, and I see I did not review it.

Overall it was a great book. My one and only complaint is that it is not even close to being as funny as the first book.

Don’t get me wrong, what happened in this book needed to happen, and the way it happened, but I think there were some spots that could have had a couple more chuckles.

It doesn't change anything. I am still anxiously waiting for book three.
