This book was narrated either by an AI or simply dictated text in a machine. it lacks the tonal and vocal qualities of a real person reading it, which would be much better even if that person wasn't as enjoyable to listen to. Whatever digital tool read this book mispronounces common words constantly and it makes it very difficult to focus and understand the content of the book.

AI reader distracting

The AI reader pronounces words that it shouldn’t. “Middle dot” gets repeated so much, I couldn’t listen any longer.

AI narration is a disaster

If I were not already educated in this subject, I would not have been able to decipher much of what is in this book. So many mispronounced words, awkwardly spoken phrases, bulleted lists are read as,
"middle dot...
middle dot...
middle dot...
middle dot..."
so awful and distracting.
It seems like it might be a good book, so I'm buying the hardcopy, but I don't think I'll ever buy another audio book narrated by AI again.
