I am in love with this narrator and MZ book

I m buying everything MZ related because she s awesome and i am a trully slow burn romance fan. Not everyone s cup of tea but i enjoy this kind of really slow romance.

Slow burn. 1 POV. HEA. Standalone.

The only reason why I gave the story only four stars is bc the main character’s inner dialogue is sooooo redundant and lasts way too long. With that being said, the basis of the story was great.

Ripley and Luna.

Excellent book. Excellent narration. This audible is worth listening to more than once. I also have other great books by this author.

Heart eyes

MZ does such an extraordinary job building the characters in her books. Gomez Pugh aka Rip could say babygirl a 100 more times and I wouldn’t get tired of it!

I love this story. So quirky and funny while also deep and emotional, a bit swoon and So Sloooow burn!!

“I was fine. The heart is more resilient than anyone ever gave it credit for, and I liked to think mine was a bad bish.”

Luna is a strong and resilient survivor. She pulled herself and her three younger sisters out of a bad situation. She has a smile and good thoughts and words for everyone around her, but she is hiding scars and triggers from her past.

“You kill me, girl,” he murmured in the roughest voice I’d ever heard. “I swear to God, you’re a f**king puzzle I thought was all in the box, but every d*mn day I find a piece or two hidden all over the place.”

I adore Rip and his rough, gruff exterior! Just perfect for sweet Luna! The audiobook narration was awesome!

Excellent

Excellent reader for both MCs. I absolutely loved the slow burn of the book that moved steadily to a very satisfying ending. I wanted to smack both characters more than a few times, but you are SUPPOSED to want to smack sense into them because they were being so incredibly damaged and human. I loved it.

You just can’t get any better audio than a Mariana Zapata book narrated by Callie Dalton! Add in Gomez Pugh and it’s stellar. Perfect words and perfect casting. Thanks for a for another amazing listen.

worth the wait!

Mariana Zapata is an automatic buy for me and waiting for Lunas audiobook was torture but I'm so glad I did!
the slowburn was perfect. Callie Daltons narrating is stellar as always. It took me a minute to adjust to the male narrator but he ended up being Ripley.
Definitely worth the wait and the credit!
