great story well told and performed

Tricia O'Malley is at the top of her game in this title. she quickly engages us into the lives of family, town, and familiars and takes us on a wonderful sleigh ride of a story. The book is wonderfully narrated by two performers, with a dual storyline told in first person by the two protagonists. Heartily recommended!

Good story, horrific narrator

This is the very first Tricia O’Malley’s books that I have really struggled with the narration on. They affected accent, the fake voices. Shudder!! It would’ve been better if we’re all read in monotone. The storyline was fun.

Characters were great! Even Mandy. Lol.

It’s fun when authors bring a character in the storyline from another series, whether just mentioned or is there with purpose.

Funny and Cute

I loved the characters and humor! I can't wait for the next book in the series!

magickal

i absolutely loved this book! it was sweet, cute, and magickal! the story was one I loved the concept of! like all of Tricia o’malley’s books the love in the story proves no matter what magick, curse, or other obstacle love is always the strongest magick around and U love that about her writing! i loved this book, can’t wait till the next I hope you love it as much as me! it was a 5 star read for me and I Hope it is for you too! Happy reading! the narrators were awesome!

Silly and nerve grating.

This is the worst audiobook I have ever listened to. The voices are silly and nerve grating. I couldn’t get past the 4th chapter. A total waste of money.

Liked the story, disliked the narrators.

Story is just like described-cute and cozy with a little bit of spice. It’s a pretty simple premise, and if you’re looking for a quick listen with low emotional baggage this is a good pick. My main issue is just like the other reviews- the narrators are rough. The FMCs narrator was all over the place, her accent kept dropping and was inconsistent the entire time. The MMCs narrator was quite monotone, but at least he stayed true to the accent. I would suggest reading this one, not listening.

Love the story and author but HATE the narrators. Had to stop listening and buy the book.
