Since it’s told from an AI’s perspective, the explanations and examples are reasonable and easy to understand. Now, I can spot weak arguments more frequently, whether online or in everyday conversations. The narration is good and Voss' guide is a great audiobook to listen to.

Made me rethink how I argue.

This was a really enjoyable listen! I didn't expect an AI's perspective to be so clear and approachable, but the way it explained things made the examples genuinely fun to follow. My favorite part? Each fallacy was broken down in a way that felt totally relevant to everyday life. It's like the chats you have on social media or just hanging out and talking with friends. This audiobook really makes you stop and think before you jump into an argument. I found it super interesting and surprisingly entertaining to listen to, and I recommend it worth checking out!

I love this!! Genius

This is eerily one of the best mindset and psychological tools to train yourself to be more objective and overcome yes, "logical fallacies" but really things that will take us for a ride and can bother us for extensive periods. This makes sense on so many levels. It covers such a variety of fallacies and minimum is just interesting to hear about how silly we humans can be. It helps put perspective on the things that rattle us some times!

A good introduction to fallacies

I’ve been in the world of spotting fallacies for quite a while, but I always struggle to remember which fallacy I’m facing and how to counter it. This audiobook helps with both. I love how it’s divided into short chapters, each just a few minutes long, and each one focuses on a single fallacy, with a quick explanation, a defense strategy, and a clear example.

Psst!... This audiobook is perfect for reinforcing the concepts from the printed book. That’s how I used it, and it made the experience so much better.

Really fun - never lose an argument again!

Your friends will probably hate you after you have mastered all the tips and tricks in this book, as you'll be a pro debater, splintering their arguments! Really interesting to see the fallacies broken down with tips on how to respond to them. I have heard so many variations of these before and never really knew a comeback for them - this book is so helpful in that regard. Now I just have to find someone to argue with!

This changed the way I think

We’re all human and we all have our own fallacies. This book helped me become more aware of the way that people think and in turn how I myself think. I think this is the first step in being able to win an argument. You have to think of things from the perspective of the other person and this book will govern you all of the tools you need.
